It’s a holiday! But if you think that all I did was sleep and eat, think again. As early as 7am I was already awake, why? There’s gonna be a Mass Wedding at the church and I’m one of the Media people that was gonna help out. The Wedding went fine, experimented with my multimedia and multitasking skills. As soon as the wedding was over, at around 1pm I got a ride on the bus to Cultural Center of the Philippines, rode the Orange Cab to Vito Cruz Station to ride on the LRT. Quickly got of EDSA Station and fall in line with mobs of people for the ticket booth to ride another route at the MRT. I can’t believe I was venturing of the new places by myself! Anyway, got off Guadalupe Station and rode the jeepney to A-Venue Mall. (I had trouble finding where to ride the jeep, thanks to a generous traffic man that told me the way).
And here we are!
the scent, the aroma, the noise, the people in costumes and of course the photographers waiting to take a photo on their favorite anime characters that came to life. but an unexpected event occured. as i was falling in line to get a ticket, a voice from afar shocked us all. “Soorry! no more tickets for you guys!.” - the voice said. I was shocked! All the trouble to get here and now this is what I get? But! The day wasn’t over. Taduh! The two saviors of the day, Mboi and Vitug hanged out with me outside which was actually better, because all the fun and action was happening there! Me and Vitug helped out Mboi to gain some fans while we got fans without doin’ anything. Hmm.. Funny. Watched the Kamen Rider Cosplayers went berserk while preforming traffic chores. Uhh, though it was freakin’ hot, it was worth the fun. Plus I saved 100php for tomorrow’s meal (yum yum!). But i still wanted to go inside. No pictures was taken, we’re busy having fun to do a simple thing like taking photographs. But we have videos of course! It’s for our project. I’m gonna post it later. So that’s about it!
Oh~ I almost forgot. These are our costumes at the Con.
Well, just to summarize what I’ve done in my life this week.
Monday - Regular Day, attended the choir practice after waiting at the LRC.
Tuesday - Intense P.E exhaust my body to the fullest! That’s what I get from not drinking Sting or any Energy giving drinks before P.E Class. The rest of the day was regular except for the Paranormal Activity that’s happened to me on the bus on our way home.
Wednesday - Finished editing the first episode draft and showed it to the Kakizaki Team. DotA match with my HS Friends.
Thursday - A veeery long walk from Salitran to Doyets because of lack of money and overslept at the bus.
Friday - went home early. at night, somebody knocked at my door and just vanished when i opened it. hmm paranormal activity?
Saturday - Rest. Re-Edit video and stuff.
Sunday - Church morning to Night. Prepared venue for a mass wedding tomorrow.
I’m going to Hero Nation ‘09 as casual Bel. Hmm.. the plan is, after the Mass Wedding on Monday, which will be over by noon. I’ll head straight to A-Venue Makati (Is it?) The problem is, I still don’t know how to go that place! >.> Anyway, I’ll figure out a way. We’ll what fun awaits my fate.
I wanted to write this tomorrow, but the fresher the experience the better. Ok here it goes.
*This isn’t fiction! It’s true, raw and definite story.
After a long day, I rode the bus right after our Choir Practice to go home. (9:30pm est.) Because of exhaustion from a long and stressful day, i slept at the bus to regain some strength, but the moment I wake up I realized that I already passed by Doyets (this is where i live) and was already at Salitran (maybe 2-3km away, just a guess). I quickly get off the bus and try to figure things out (10:47pm). A situation like this can be fixed if you have money. Just simply ride the jeep the other way around right? But what if you have no more money left? (i was hungry ok? i needed food for the day!!) So that’s it. I have no choice. I tried to to look at the ground and tried “treasure hunting” for coins. I only needed 6php in order to ride the jeep, but i only managed to found 1php. Oh no! What am i gonna do? Should i ask the people for 5php? I tried looking for people (11:01pm) but all i saw was a bunch of gangsters and lovers (you really don’t wanna disturb those people). SO, i tried the treasure hunting technique and still no gain. Finally, i thought of a brilliant plan. Walk 3km (estimated only) from Salitran to Doyets. You really don’t want to stay at Salitran at deep night. To make the story short (I really have nothing to tell while im on my way back, cause all i did was walk while listening to my ipod)
That’s it. Right now, im enjoying my triumph with a cup of iced tea and numb legs. It’s my new record.
LESSON LEARNED : Always keep a pocket money, either on your socks or your portable temptation-free piggy bank and learn to control your food urges. it’s dangerous. really.. whew..
everything i said here was true and it did happened. if you still don’t believe, err.. i don’t know what to say anymore. XD
Studying is tiring. Everybody just needs a break especially the students with obligations and responsibilities besides studying. I am one of those students. I consider myself lucky that I am able to study at DLS-CSB. My family can’t handle the financial fees here without the scholarship given to me by the Office of Culture and Arts. I’m glad that even I can’t sing, they accepted me as a trainee. Though I do my best in gratitude of them. True, it’s stressful and tough to have lots of responsibilities at hand. But I just cheer myself up by thinking that everybody has his/her own problems not only me. Everybody in this world is having a hard time once in a while in this life. Not only me. I don’t need to put the world’s weight in my back, sit at the corner and pity myself until I give up! There are times that I procrastinate, I can’t deny that. We’re all born with that. But I can’t let myself be devoured by that behavior. I need to stand up and fight, the more hardship you face, the sweeter the prize you get at the end. I’m not alone. God is with me. I’m not alone, my friends and families is with me. I’m not the only who has problems in this life. Everybody has a fight to finish, everybody has a problem to solve, and for every problem there’s a solution. For every night comes the day. I doesn’t matter how many times you fall down. What matters most is for every shortcomings you face, you strive and get back on the track and learn from your mistake.
Just this day me with the team Kakizaki has finished taping the scenes for our first series which is still untitled. Though the episode 1 has already a title “boi from planet[m]”. There’s a lot of editing to do since this is our first series, it needs to be epic. If you want updates you can join us on facebook, just search “team Kakizaki” or watch our “the making” videos in our youtube channel by clicking here
You could follow our beloved fansite on tumblr. (this should have a fee!)
A normal day, after class (12noon). I split with my friends as they go straight to home while I stopped by 7eleven to eat siopao. I have a choir practice so I needed to wait until 6pm. I decided to wait at the LRC and try to do some excess homeworks there.
After a couple of hours, I’m done with the work but there’s still time to kill. I took and played with my DSi *ugh what a lifesaver* until the clock arrives at 5:30pm. I went straight to the Auditorium where we always held our practice. But there were no signs of existence found. I walked straight to our alternative practice venue which is the Multi-Purpose room. still no signs. Later on i found out that we have no choir practice. O_o
I quickly rode the bus, don’t care even I stand. As long as i can go home and rest.
Work, that what us humans do everyday. Even if your just laying on your bed, drinking juice while watching TV is still considered work, but not in a positive & productive way.
Well, that’s what us students need to do.
Studying is also working. Your salary is the money coming from your parents which enables you to study and eat at the cafeteria of your choice.
Well, it’s hard to put this kind of work in a productive way, but if there’s a will there’s a way. Especially when your thinking skills is incapable of the work that is given. You just have to try harder. It’s ok to fall sometimes. Just make sure that you stand up.
Finally, a “longer” weekend for us from DLS-CSB. Me and my friends are anticipating this event, to get a break from all those hassle works, quizzes and deadlines. Though the it didn’t well that well at first. I thought I could surf my Saturday through the internet when Typhoon Santi comes around and brought blackout all-over our place so I just slept all-day. It wasn’t that bad, I really needed some intense sleeping. Sunday comes swiftly. As usual I attended our Church Service and went to Tagaytay with my cousins to eat at Dencio’s. Monday, we spend swimming and i caught some sunburns. Clearly i wanted some more break, I’m envious with my other cousins who still having their Semestral Break. Oh Well. I guess i need to enjoy things since I’m just inches away from getting a DSi. Hopefully this week i’ll be getting one. Who knows?
